R. Hank Salyer, DMD

Dr. Salyer is a native of Pike County, Kentucky, and attended Transylvania University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1991. He then attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and received his dental degree in 1995. Dedicated to the needs of children, he completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and practiced in Denver, Colorado, for two years. Dr. Salyer moved to Richmond in 1998 with his wife and their three children.

Hayden R. Phillips, DMD

Dr. Phillips grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky, he was accepted into the College of Dentistry. Here he completed both his dental degree and two-year residency, awarding him a certificate in pediatric dentistry. Working with children has been an important part of Dr. Phillips' life since young adulthood, from baby-sitting neighborhood kids to counseling summer camps and volunteering for the Special Olympics. Choosing a career in pediatric dentistry was a natural course and Dr. Phillips feels embracing the rewards and challenges it offers is the most fulfilling career imaginable. Dr. Phillips is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Catherine D. Robinette, DMD

Dr. Robinette was born and raised in Bristol, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Duke University and her dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. She met her husband, Dr. Phillips, in dental school and they were married in 2004. Since the first day of dental school, she knew she wanted to treat children and continued at UK with a pediatric residency program. Drs. Phillips and Robinette live in Lexington with their family. Dr. Robinette is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
